Assistant Professor Tara Kopp attended Pratt Institute and received an M.F.A. in Painting with an Advanced Certificate in Art and Design Education. In addition to working as faculty, Tara is the Deputy Director of the Center for Art, Design, and Community Engagement, K–12 coordinator for youth programs at Pratt and a painter. Tara’s exhibitions include Art 3 Gallery, Brooklyn; Catskill Art Society, Old Stone House, Brooklyn; Nicolet College Art Gallery, Rhinelander, Wisconsin; UNCW Art Gallery, Wilmington, North Carolina; Habitat Gallery, Denver, Colorado; Gowanus Loft, Brooklyn; Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition. Tara’s awards include second place winner, Painting and Seeing, UNCW Art Gallery and 2nd place winner, LSU Union Art Gallery.
