Teal Nottage

T.L “Teal” Nottage (they/them) is a third-year candidate for a Masters in Landscape Architecture at Pratt Institute. They are a designer, researcher, and maker with a background in urban sustainability, environmental justice, and the arts. Teal’s prior work spans a range of disciplines including immersive installation, sustainable design and construction, composting and urban soil rehabilitation, and land-based research and advocacy. They are sometimes a writer, most recently about queer ecology in NYC and landscape as a tool for repairing our human and more-than human relationships. Teal holds an M.A. in Theories of Urban Practice from Parsons, The New School for Design and a B.A. in Theater from the University of California, San Diego.
