Shanaz Khan

M.S. Historic Preservation candidate

Shanaz Khan is a Pakistani Fulbright scholar pursuing a MS in Historic Preservation at Pratt Institute. She has an undergraduate degree in Architecture, where she graduated with distinction and various other accolades, including the IAP (Institute of Architects Pakistan) Award for academic excellence. 

As an undergraduate student she worked on the 'Digital Preservation of Pakistan's Heritage' project by the 'Technology for People' initiative, where she worked with a team to preserve six historic sites using ‘point cloud engineering.’ A licensed professional architect in Pakistan, Shanaz has worked in her country before applying for a Master’s education. She is currently the President of Pratt’s Historic Preservation Organization (PHPO) and also works as an equestrian trainer at Prospect Park.
