AICAD Post-Graduate Teaching Fellow
School of Architecture
Ann Dinh is the AICAD Post-Graduate Teaching Fellow in the Undergraduate Architecture Department, where she teaches design studios and electives. Her teaching philosophy promotes an environment where students can express themselves and embrace differences. Each classroom is a distinctive community where students can develop their potential and learning methods. Ann’s community-based collaborations include multiple fellowships with community organizations. She was an Artist Fellow in Residence at the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center’s Pao Arts Center and Asian Community Development Corporation, a fellowship that empowers artists and residents to collectively preserve Boston’s Chinatown through the creative activation of underutilized sites in the neighborhood. Ann was also the Sara Little Turnbull Fellow in support of Tiny WPA. The Sara Little Turnbull Fellowship is awarded to a woman or non-binary person of color passionate about design and design education. Tiny WPA is a nonprofit organization devoted to building equity, enhancing design spaces, and strengthening communities in Philadelphia by supporting citizen-led design improvements. Ann is currently a member of Pratt’s Research Yard Decarbonization Group, an accelerator that advances the decarbonization of New York’s construction sector by collaborating with various nonprofit organizations. She received her Master of Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and her Bachelor of Architecture from Temple University.
