Energy Resilience Fellow
As the Energy Resilience Fellow, Valeria works on the Clean Energy Hub and EnergyFit projects. She synthesizes reports on barriers and opportunities for clean energy adoption in disinvested communities and assists Pratt Center staff in the creation of a plan to guide outreach and equitable engagement on these projects in Queens and Staten Island. Valeria is in the Sustainable Environmental Systems M.S. program at Pratt in the Graduate Center for Planning and the Environment. She hopes to work towards an equitable clean energy transition upon graduating in 2024. Her background is in law and policy, having majored in political science at Barnard College and then worked as a paralegal for three years. Valeria has lived all over the world, and her previous eight years in New York City is the longest amount of time she's spent living in one place.
Websites are invisible consumers of energy, and crisp, clear images consume the most. By default, our images load in low resolution to lighten our website's energy load. To see an image in full resolution, or to toggle between lo- and hi-res modes, click the icon at the top right hand corner.
Bypass lo-res images altogether by selecting “Load All Full-Res” here or in the footer of any page on the site.
