Sydney Tiemann

Policy & Data Fellow
As the Policy and Data Fellow, Sydney supports Pratt Center staff in conducting research related to community participation in NYSERDA clean energy hubs and worker-owned cooperatives in the food sector. Originally from Seattle, Sydney studied biology and worked in a lab before coming to Pratt's Urban & Community Planning program. She came to Pratt with an interest in understanding the myriad ways climate change intersects with urban issues, and once she graduates, she hopes to work towards just climate resilience and adaptation strategies. This summer, Sydney successfully grew peppers on her roof for the first time.
