Hannah Whitney
As the Policy and Data Fellow, Hannah supports Pratt Center staff in conducting research and visualizing data on projects related to housing justice and NYSERDA clean energy hubs. She is originally from the Bay Area, California, and has spent the last seven years studying and working in New York City. She has an academic background in Political Science and Economics from Fordham University, where she studied public education policy and facilitated high school civics programs in the Bronx. Before attending Pratt, Hannah worked as a litigation paralegal. She came to Pratt interested in resilient, affordable housing and planning strategies for young city populations. In her free time, you can find her at the Brooklyn piers playing beach volleyball or training for the marathon in Prospect Park.
