Michael Bogdanffy-Kriegh leads the Pratt Center's efforts to provide front-end architectural services to not-for-profit, community-based organizations. He works closely with the Director of Community Real Estate Development to provide community groups with the technical assistance they need to secure and develop new spaces.
Following his graduation from the School of Architecture of the University of Virginia, Michael worked in private practices on such projects as affordable housing developments, the interior of NASA's space station habitation module, high rise residential buildings, and correctional facilities. From 1989 to 2008, Michael managed an independent practice where he worked on high-end residential interior renovations, corporate interiors, affordable housing and community facilities.
Michael has served as board president of the New York Society for Ethical Culture, and also helped build two community organizations, WEST and the Live-Work Coalition of New York. He lives with his wife Holly, three dogs and two cats in Beacon, New York. His hobbies include cooking, photography and helping his wife with her ambitious garden.
