Good morning. I am Adam Friedman, Executive Director of the New York Industrial Retention Network (NYIRN). NYIRN is a citywide organization dedicated to saving and creating well-paying manufacturing jobs and to promoting sustainable development.

Each year, NYIRN works with 200 to 300 manufacturers, most of which are thriving. For most, the greatest challenge to their continued well-being and to the jobs they provide is the shortage of affordable space.
