The Association for Neighborhood and Housing Development, Pratt Center for Community Development and the Supportive Housing Network of New York invite you to join us in a second round of our popular monthly workshop series to learn and share information about how to make your existing housing portfolio more energy efficient, healthier, and more financially viable. Each of the 10 sessions features a presentation on a selected topic and time for participants to discuss their experiences, share information, ask questions and suggest policy and/or programmatic initiatives. We encourage affordable and supportive housing managers, developers and fiscal staff to participate.

Other topics discussed will include: Program eligibility; Preparation and application process; Necessary documentation; Tips on coordinating additional sources of funding energy efficiency measures (NYSERDA and utility programs); and Program timelines and general requirements

About the Speaker
David Hepinstall, Executive Director of the Association for Energy Affordability, Inc. (AEA) in New York City, since 1993. AEA is a not-for-profit training, technical support and energy services organization that supports energy efficient retrofits and new construction to achieve energy savings, health and safety, and maintain affordability, especially in housing for low and moderate income New Yorkers. He is currently a member of the NYC Energy Policy Task Force, Vice Chair of the NYS Weatherization Policy Advisory Committee (PAC) and Chair of the Board of the Building Performance Institute (BPI).
"Managing Lean and Green" meets the first Wednesday of every month beginning October 7 and continuing through July 2010. Participants may register for a single session ($25) or the entire series ($200). Advance registration required - please sign up on this page.
