Green Healthcare Forum - Designing the Healthcare Facility of the Future
The Green Healthcare Forum will bring together leaders and healthcare professionals to discuss how healthcare facilities in New York City can improve energy efficiency, reduce operating costs, and contribute to a healthier and more sustainable environment. There will be four sessions in the series from August 2011 to April 2012. The goal is to educate and inform CEOs and facilities managers of medical groups, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities in the New York City area on issues and challenges in sustainability.
The third workshop in the series will address designing the healthcare facility of the future. This session will focus on presenting ideas on new design features for hospitals, for both new construction and retrofit projects.
