BPI Multifamily Building Analyst Class

This training will cover the four-step process of multifamily building performance analysis including pre-visit procedures, site visit, analysis and reporting, to help contractors prepare for the Building Performance Institute’s Multifamily Building Analyst on-line and field exams. Participants will be instructed on the evaluation of building performance and improvement opportunities based on a review of energy use and building operating conditions.

Topics covered: Multifamily Audit Process; Data Collection & Data Management; Heating and Hot Water Systems; Cooling Systems; Building Energy Modeling; Combined Heat and Power (CHP); and others.

Prerequisites: A significant level of experience in energy auditing or related field is assumed. Entry level personnel may benefit from the course but note that this is not intended to be an introductory “how-to” energy audit program.

OPTIONAL BPI Online Exam:
